For 30 years, I’ve worn all the titles: CEO, CMO, Founder, Speaker, and Mentor.
But the title I never had was “mentee.”I didn’t grow up in rooms where mentors opened doors. I clawed my way up ladders, always looking for a place to belong.
When I was mid-level, I didn’t have the right title for the groups I wanted to join.
When I finally had the C-Suite title, I couldn’t afford the dues.
When I joined founder circles, my seat disappeared after my business failed. Instead of being helped to rebound, I felt pushed out.
Everywhere I turned, communities were built for someone else: industry insiders, executives, founders, etc. But what about the rest of us?
What about the women who are:
Starting their careers.
Building their careers.
Coming back after a pause.
Or thinking about changing direction entirely.
The women carrying teams without leadership training. The women stuck in the in-between, too experienced for entry-level resources, but not “senior enough” for the fancy clubs.
That’s why I created Table.
Here, you don’t need a title. You don’t need perfect timing. You don’t need to prove you belong.
Take a seat. You belong here.
